Sonia Poli
A citizen of the world, the Established Brazilian artist Sonia Poli was born in São Paulo where she studied Fine Arts.
Her works were published in the prestigious catalogue "Artes PLásticas do Brasil".
Sonia Poli has been painting for more than 30 years and comes to Portugal once a year. Her name resounds not just in Portugal and Brazil but also in Germany, Colombia, Peru, Japan, Italy, and the United States.
In Funchal on the island of Madeira, she is represented at the Art Center Caravel as the only Brazilian artist working in impressionism. Her style explores and exalts the joys of music and musicians, life, human beauty, Madeira life, nature and landscapes in expressionistic shades of colourful art images of Madeira island.
